Interaction with other dogs will help to resolve many behavior issues such as frustration, boredom, and lack of confidence. Our Doggie Day Camp Doggie Daycare provides a multitude of activities. Dogs help each other to learn good canine behavior. Unfortunately, when they are removed from the litter at such young ages they miss out on so many of the necessary pack dynamics, which later may cause behavior issues. When your dog joins our Day Camp Doggie Daycare, he or she will be integrated into the supervised play group that best suits them. This is done carefully and at a pace within each dog's comfort level. Groups are decided based on factors such as size and temperament. Some examples of our groups include, the Little Doggie group, made up of smaller breeds, the Scrappy group, which is a special collection of outgoing, energetic, and usually adolescent dogs, and our Big Dog group which consists of mature dogs who like to play without the craziness of the wilder Scrappy dogs.
We will work with your dog, helping him or her to learn how to 'play nice'. When we are on Walks, Field Trips or Hiking excursions walking on a leash is the only acceptable form of walking, no pulling and jumping is allowed. Feel free to call anytime to check in on your dog. We will let you know how he or she is doing. If you are up for a hike, field trip or park visit let us know, an extra hand is always welcome. Your dog will get plenty of exercise and socialize with other dogs. As a result, you will have a much happier, more social and mentally fit dog allowing them to direct their energy toward good behaviors.
Socializing with the dogs and Nannies, and challenging themselves on the specially designed doggie playgroups at Canine Nanny Services will give your dog an opportunity to get exercise, learn proper social skills and gain confidence.
